Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health's Brandywine Program in Glenmoore, PA is seeking a Part Time Food Service Specialist to work in our Cafeteria on campus.
As a PT Food Service Specialist at Devereux’s Brandywine Programs you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer an environment that is supportive, consistent and offers you the ability to pick up hours based on your schedule. This position will give you a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience within food service enviroment that will incude cooking, food prep, line service, restrictive diets and health department regulations. Our environment is fast paced, ever changing and offers a sense of personal satisfaction and self fulfillment while serving as a key member of our team. Devereux Brandywine Programs provides psychiatric residential treatment and education services for adolescent males who experience behavioral and psychiatric challenges, often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.
As the food service worker, your responsibilities will include:
Cleans kitchen equipment, utensils, and kitchen serving, dining and storage areas following departmental procedures.
Properly stores food and follows food safety guidelines.
Assembles ingredients and prepares food as assigned.
Follows and applies chemical handling process and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) procedure.
Maintains and properly operates kitchen equipment.
Serves meals to staff and clients acting in accordance with proper portion controls and special diet requirements.

High School Diploma/GED
Food Service Experience strongly preferred, but would consider those currently enrolled in Nutrition or Dietetics Programs in lieu of experience
