As Logistic Specialist at L3 MAS you will:

With the main objective of ensuring to our customer availability of serviceable parts on time, at the right location and at the minimum cost:

  • Lead the development and implementation of performance reports for the CF188 Primary Air Vehicle (PAV) component Repair & Overhaul (R&O) process with subcontractors.

  • Support the customer in the development and implementation of performance reports for the CF188 PAV procurement process.

  • Contribute to the definitions of dashboards for both component R&O with contractors and procurement processes.

  • Ensure that CF188 PAV performance reports and dashboards are harmonized with L3 other contracts and internal practices on the CF188.

  • Support definition of software requirements for integration of data currently available in various information systems.

  • In collaboration with the Master Planner, evaluate & recommend improvements on forecast process and parts management.

  • Provide recommendations on optimized Warehousing, Storage, Packaging, and Transportation.

  • Contribute to working sessions with regards to CF188 R&O and procurement processes for tactical improvements (EKE), Kaizen, brainstorming sessions, etc.).

  • Interact with various multi-disciplinary teams located in Mirabel and Gatineau, including program office, continuous improvement, material & resource planning, life cycle material managers.

  • Support reviews with customer on recommendations for immediate improvements.

  • Participate to the elaboration of a vision and requirements definition of Integrated Logistic Support as a mean for optimized CF188 In-Service Support.

Qualifications

Ideal profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or College Diploma with equivalent experience.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry for Logistic or Planning management fields.

  • Strong interest in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.

  • Proficiency with Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).

  • Work experience with SAP (an asset).

  • Bilingual: French and English written and spoken (an asset).

Operational requirements:

  • Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program ;

  • Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “ Reliability ” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;

  • Location not accessible via public transportation, car required.
