Performs duties of a Instrument Control/Electrical engineer and system engineer (supporting testing, routine maintenance activities, troubleshooting, system design improvements,ECNs, material procurement, procedure reviews, etc.) as assigned by manager. Provide technical and programmatic leadership in support of Process & Control System (P&CS) Engineering, which includes coordination of activities with multiple internal and external entities, performing technical and cost/benefits evaluations, and developing task plans and schedules. Provide oversight of and technical direction to subcontractors. Prepare and present technical information related to assigned system as needed.Accountable for safety based on the principals of no injuries to anyoneSet challenging goals for personal and group accomplishmentsSet high standards of performance for self and othersDevelop and sustain productive customer relationshipsMaintain cognizance of any changes to assigned instrumentation systems and componentsInput to/develop and approve work packages, Engineering Change Notices and Software Change RequestesPerform software modifications on ABB, Allen-Bradley, Novatech or other control systemsReview and approve new or changes to operating or maintenance proceduresReview preventive maintenance, surveillances, and establish post maintenance testing requirementsPerform operability evaluations in support of daily activitiesMaintain knowledge of system design descriptions, baseline technical documentation, software quality assurance recordsPrepare Bills of Material and Material RequestsPerform routine administrative activities/duties on time (routine training, safety meetings, time keeping, continuing training, staff meetings)
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering degree with minimum of 2 years of experience.
