Job Summary

This position processes scholarships, updates and maintains donor information. You will prepare, verify, and enter data into computerized information systems/databases: Salesforce, Scholarship Administration, and AcademicWorks. You will also manage thank you letter submissions (nearly 1000 letters) and oversee student RSVP’s (nearly 1000 invites) for our grand scholarship luncheon. This position will report to the Scholarship Manager in Dean’s Office, and work closely with the Eccles School Development Office and Salesforce team.


1.Enters information into computerized information systems and databases.

2.Researches and evaluates all documents for accuracy and completeness to ensure correct data is entered.

3.Reviews input against source documents for accuracy and edits as needed.

4.Maintains document master files for backup and verification.

5.Run queries and reports on a daily and weekly basis.

6.Edit thank you letters’ content, format, and grammar.

7.Enter and update donor contact information, including salutations for thank you letters.

8.May perform clerical duties such as mailing thank you letters to donors, scheduling meetings, and contacting scholarship recipients.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years data entry experience or equivalency required (1 year of college education is equivalent to 2 years of related work experience). Proficiency in the use of data entry equipment and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required. The hiring department may require a minimum typing ability.

Knowledge and Experience with SalesForce, PeopleSoft, Scholarship Administration (Uiversity of UtahCISapplication), and AcademicWorks. Proficiency in Microsoft Exel and Word, andPDFfiles.
