_Job Description:_ * Assesses internal and external customer needs participates in the development of annual departmental scope of care/service including improvement goals that support the organization's mission, vision, values and important functions. * Ensures staff education and compliance with all appropriate administrative, departmental, Infection Control, Safety, Risk Management and Human Resources Policies and Procedures and with regulatory/accrediting requirements * Monitors employee performance on a continuous basis and maintains documentation to support commendation and/or recommendations for improvement. * Guides the development of a departmental process to continually assess and improve departmental performance. * Informs staff of current pertinent issues, consistently fosters teamwork, and builds mutual understanding, respect, and confidence among personnel * Serves as an advocate for patient/family/SO regarding decisions affecting the Plan of Care.


  • Associates in Nursing, Bachelors preferred
  • Florida RN License required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • Oncology certification preferred
  • 2 years of Charge Nurse/Supervisory
  • 5 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical Oncology
