JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for assisting the Maintenance Administrative Assistant with administrative support.


  • Data Entry

  • Generating reports and database maintenance.

  • Assist in answering, screening and placing calls to include the transmittal and relay of messages.

  • Assist Maintenance Leadership in maintaining and auditing work and safety files.

  • Greet and direct vendors / sales professionals and provide them assistance.

  • Ensure confidentiality of correspondence, employee records, files and oral communications.

  • Assist in coordinating office supplies/stationary needs and maintenance service for office equipment.

  • Must operate within the policies and procedures of Darien Lake.

  • Assist with keeping all work areas clean, safe and in a professional manner.

  • Drop off and pick up mail to/from the Administration Building on a daily basis.

  • Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s License.



  • High School Diploma/GED.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment requiring ability to multi-task strongly preferred.

  • Proven experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web-based and data-management applications.

  • Acclimate quickly to various software systems.

  • Ability to react calmly under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.

  • Proven organization and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.

  • Strong communication skills, to include:

  • Ability to communicate clearly by phone and radio transmission.

  • Ability to speak professionally to both employees and guests staying on property.

  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

  • Ability to work in an open office environment, subject to numerous interruptions and distractions.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, as required.
