Credence LLC U-2 ISR/SOF Technical Illustrator, Senior in Warner Robins, Georgia
Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is seeking a Technical Illustrator at the Senior-level to support the U-2 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Special Operations Forces (SOF) program on Robins AFB, GA. The Technical Illustrator will have the opportunity to work in an engaging, high-tech environment supporting the U-2 ISR/SOF Engineering, Enterprise and Branch levels for program and project management. The Technical Illustrator will work in conjunction with members of the Integrated Product Team and will be responsible for reviewing and understanding technical information included in engineering drawings and other source documents and to translate that into clear illustrations and drawings as necessary to complement the written text, using 2D and 3D illustration software. The Technical Illustrator will perform Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to the U-2 ISR/SOF program based on an understanding of the current programmatic status in an ever-changing and dynamic environment in ISR/SOF.
Contractor personnel shall provide A&AS to the Government on the following tasks:
Create and prepare detailed 3D and 2D graphics through collaboration with technical writers and engineering research.
Produce advanced and complex computer-generated illustrations and artwork for various technical publications and manuals.
Prepare diagrams and schematics for manuals.
Apply expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products, to include Microsoft Visio, and Adobe Photoshop to create and edit files in a digitized format.
Work with TO Managers and Equipment Specialists to interpret accurate data for precise technical manuals.
Daily use of automated data management systems to organize TO information and keep the team abreast of current statuses.
Daily communication with Integrated Product Team members, orally and in writing, to discuss current issues and work towards resolution.
Effectively work with the team to ensure TO’s are updated in a timely manner.
Maintain and manage and illustration product library in an accurate and timely manner.
Catalog and file all materials in a logical and easily accessible manner.
10 years of experience with AF technical manual development in accordance with military standards and specifications.
Must have excellent communication skills to include writing and editing material; briefing or speaking at meetings and forums and interfacing with lead commands, internal organization points of contact and OEM contractors.
Must have a working knowledge with MIL-STD-38784 for style and formatting technical documents, including an ability to edit technical illustrations from multiple document formats.
Must be able to update, convert, and create new illustrations and the capability to edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other illustrators utilizing commercial software, i.e. Illustrator and Photoshop.
The Contractor shall be proficient with use of Microsoft Office 2010 (or later) suite of products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Top Secret clearance is required.
